About Us

Silver Bullet Cattle Co. was formed in 2000. It is located in Cedar Hill, TN which is about 30 miles northwest of Nashville, TN.

Dennis and Pam Shay Bryant have been active in the Pinzgauer breed for many years. Dennis started out in the Pinzgauer breed in the early 1980's as the Farm Manager for S & S Farms in Fort Payne, AL, then developed and managed the well-known Franklin Farms herd for many years. Due to his many years in the breed, there are not many bloodlines or herdsires in use in the breed today with which Dennis is not familiar. Pam has been active in the breed since the late 1980's - and spent 13 as the publisher/editor of The Pinzgauer Journal, the official magazine for the Pinzgauer breed. Dennis is on the Board of the Southeastern Pinzgauer Association and Pam is currently serving as Treasurer. Pam is also on her second term on the Board of the American Pinzgauer Association. In 2008, The Bryants purchased the foundation herd of Pinzgauers from the Talbots at Hi Point Ranch in New Boston, TX. Combining these foundation cows with the existing herd has brought the breeding program to a new level.
The Bryants use their knowledge of the breed and the bloodlines when buying their own cattle and providing cattle to other breeders and commercial cattlemen. They can help you locate Pinzgauer seed stock throughout the United States. Currently, Silver Bullet is offering one up-and-coming herd sire for sale, along with semen, cow-calf pairs, prospect heifers and young out-cross bull calves.
The Silver Bullet hosts a consignment sale every Memorial Day weekend that always brings a great group of Pinzgauer enthusiasts together. Mark your calendar for this year's sale to be held at the ranch on May 28-29, 2010. Call or write us for a catalog.
You can find Silver Bullet at many up-coming Pinzgauer shows; in fact we were just honored with winning the Reserve National Grand Champion Bull with SB Cool Deal, in September 2009 at the World Beef Expo in Milwaukee, WI, in addition to winning the Premier Breeder award at that event.
We welcome visitors at all times. Please call ahead so that we can extend a real Tennessee welcome!
